Payment

Please pay promptly so you can receive your shipment quickly. I accept PayPal which is easy to use and free to the consumer, as well as credit cards, money orders, and personal checks. When paying by personal check or money order, I ship when the payment has cleared the bank.

Shipping

1. What to expect.

As soon as your payment is processed, your item will be in the mail. I use USPS and delivery confirmation even on the smallest items. If you need another carrier or a specific service, just let me know.

2. Can your country receive shipments from Nook Cove?

Yes. If you don't see your country listed in the shipping prices, please Convo me to get a quote before you purchase. If this doesn't happen, please Convo me so that I can fill in the missing information. I will add your wonderful country to the shipping table so that you can purchase today and in the future.


3. Combined shipping.

I offer multiple item shipping discounts. In most cases, the additional shipping charge will appear on the listing.

4. First Class Mail

First-class mail is chosen for items weighing under 13 ounces and will have a confirmation number. All others will be shipped according to media, priority, or parcel select.

5. Damaged Merchandise:

You merchandise is carefully packaged using the philosophy "pack it as if an elephant will sit on it." Well, sometimes that elephant in the postal system does sit on it and stomps on it. Stomping can't be predicted, so if your breakable arrives broken, please convo me immediately. If I have more of the damaged item, I will promptly replace your item. If I don't have a replacement item, I will promptly refund you the price of the item. Also, I will need a photo of the damaged item so that I can issue a claim with the postal service.

6. Orders over $50.00:

Orders over $50 mailed priority with signature confirmation. While your priority package bears a delivery confirmation number and insurance up to $50.00, if you do not receive your package but the delivery confirmation number has been scanned as delivered, the post office will deny any claim for a "lost" package. To protect you and me, I require a signature confirmation to receive the package.
Refunds and Exchanges
SEWING PATTERNS: All sewing patterns are sold "as is." The pattern is checked for completeness before it is listed, and then again before it is shipped. There are no returns or exchanges on sewing patterns.

NON-SEWING PATTERN ITEMS: If you are not completely satisfied with your Nook Cove purchase, you may return your merchandise within 7 days of receiving your order. I will gladly issue a credit to your credit card for the purchase price (less shipping)when I receive your package.

RETURNS: If your item is damaged in the mail, please let me know immediately. Most of my items are one of a kind and cannot be replaced. We will work out a solution that is beneficial to you and me. Please Convo me and I will send you a return shipping label if applicable.

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, and you would like to receive a refund, please Convo me for instructions. I will send you an email confirmation after I receive your return letting you know that your return has been processed. Please return your items in the original condition that they were shipped.

If you believe Nook Cove has shipped something in error, please call me at 1-731-335-3725 or Convo me.

CREDITS: After I have received and processed your return shipment, I will credit to your method of payment the purchase amount of the item(s). An email confirmation will be sent to you letting know that your credit card has been credited. Please allow up to 2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your credit card billing statement.

*Please note if you paid by money order or personal check, your refund will be in the same form in which you paid.

NON-RECEIPT (DOMESTIC): All packages bear a USPS confirmation number. If your item(s) have been delivered per the confirmation number; but you do not have the package in your hands, first check with your neighbors and household members who may have your package. If this is not the case, file a claim with USPS using the confirmation number and receipt (you can find the invoice on Etsy).

In the event your package(s) have not arrived and the confirmation number does not indicate the package has been delivered, please contact me using the "Contact Seller" button (Convo). I will work with post office to locate your order. If the order cannot be located in a reasonable length of time, I will file a claim and refund your order.

NON-RECEIPT (INTERNATIONAL): All international packages will have a "tracking number." However, the tracking number cannot be traced by USPS once it has left the customs office in the USA. Packages under 4 pounds are mailed First Class--over 4 pounds are sent by Priority. The length of time to receive a package is unpredictable even with Priority. The buyer is responsible for tracking the package on their side of the world. Check with neighbors, customs office, and/or the local post office. Give at least 4 weeks delivery time before issuing a Convo (Contact the Seller) on Etsy.
Additional Policies and FAQs
Listed fabric is either NEW (just bought and listed) or RECLAIMED (previously bought by myself or someone else for personal use but not used.) If the fabric is reclaimed, each piece is washed and inspected. If you would like a small swatch of the fabric before purchasing, please convo me and I will send a small swatch in a #10 envelope at no charge.

Not all listings are suitable for custom orders. However, some listings can be custom made for you. Please convo me if you would like to see if someone can custom make an item for you. For example, potholders upcylced from jersey can be custom made to your color specifications.
Seller Information
My preference to be contacted is through Etsy's "convo" function. Just click on the "Contact Seller" button and send me a message. I am in the USA and also can be contacted by email at nookcove [!at] charter.net or you may call Judy at 1-731-335-3725. If I don't answer your call, please leave me a voice message and I will return your call. You can also text me at the same number.
